MERLETTO VASE

The Merletto Vase combines the traditional craftsmanship of Burano – famous for its lace – with the distinct glassblowing technique of Murano. The concept follows on from the Stumble Upon range, where creases and folds are accentuated to make the object functional in another way. These imperfections are magnified until the creases are large enough to display fruits, aperitif snacks or create sealed tubes capable of holding water, allowing Merletto to serve as a vase when stood vertically.
