Located in Hertfordshire, UK, the brief for this manor house was a complete refurbishment of the interiors including spatial reorganisation and overhaul of services. Nature-inspired elements are the unifying theme for the numerous spaces in the house, reflecting the countryside location. The bespoke wall panelling, crafted by Donato Coppola, with engraved leaves from the garden, a handcrafted metal staircase balustrade taking inspiration from tree roots, and sinks curved out of natural stone or timber are all design elements supporting the concept of bringing nature from outside in, providing a sophisticated yet natural, countryside-like luxury feel and aesthetic.
